St. Joseph’s Foundation golf benefit tees off May 30

There are many ways to become involved in St. Joseph’s Foundation 11th annual Gathering on the Greens.

This golf event helps to support healthcare scholarships, areas of greatest need and hospice.

On Wednesday, May 30, Blueberry Pines Golf Club comes alive with golfers arriving for a day of play, fellowship, games, prizes, food and fun. All gather in support of St. Joseph’s Foundation and in the spirit of keeping quality healthcare close to home. Anyone is invited to participate at any number of levels.

If you like to golf… and no one is asking for you to qualify for the Masters… but if you enjoy the game of golf, there is a place for you on the course. Better yet, find a foursome and form your own team.

Anyone who purchases helicopter ball drop tickets has a chance to win $2,500. Odds are certainly better than winning the state lottery. For every $10 ticket purchased, you have an approximate one in 1,200 chance that your numbered ball will drop closest to the pin. It’s quite a sight to see!

Ball drop tickets are available at the following area businesses:

  • Park Rapids: Bear’s Den Golf Course; Casey’s General Store; ConAgra/Lamb-Weston/RDO Frozen; Headwaters Golf Club; Holiday Station; Northstar Orthodontics; Orton’s Food Mart East & Orton’s Oil Co.; St. Joseph’s Cup of Joe Café and Shoppe on Pleasant; and T&M Express.
  • Menahga: Cenex; Orton’s BP; Shell Sport & Bait; Ted’s Hardware; and Blueberry Pines Golf Club.
  • Nevis: Northwind Grocery and T&M Express.
  • Walker: Orton’s BP & Tianna Country Club.
