St. Joseph’s hosts fatherhood skills classesAll fathers are welcome to join a free, 13-week series of Fatherhood Skills Classes sponsored through St. Joseph’s Area Health Services. The class is a way for dads to learn new parenting skills, share experiences, and develop community relationships. It prepares fathers to build more effective relationships with their children and feel confident in their fatherhood skill sets. The series is conducted by St. Joseph’s Joe Johnson, a Nurturing Fathers Program master trainer/consultant. Classes are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Feb. 1 in the new FATHER Project offices located in downtown Park Rapids at 322 Main Ave. So., Suite #2 (between the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles and Four Seas Chinese Restaurant). For more information, or to register for the series, please call Joe at 218-255-2063. |
