History

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Crookston, Minnesota, established the hospital in 1946, and in 1985, the Franscian Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, assumed sponsorship. St. Joseph's was transferred to Catholic Health Corporation of Omaha, Nebraska, in 1993, which merged in 1996 to form Catholic Health Initiatives, based in Denver, Colorado.

Our patients are served by a 13 member Board of Directors, 24 Active Staff Members, about 69 Consulting Specialists, 11 Emergency Services staff, 24 Allied Health Professionals and approximately 390 employees.
