Minnesota Power demonstrated their support for St. Joseph's Area Health Services new building and renovation project with a contribution worth $50,000. A formal presentation was made at the construction site of the new medical center Tuesday.

The gifts keep coming
Individuals, organizations and businesses from local communities have shown overwhelming support for St. Joseph's Area Health Services $26 million building and renovation project.

The project will create a medical center to facilitate the needs of St. Joseph's and Dakota Clinic (Innovis Health as of Jan. 1, 2008) in close proximity of one another and to improve and expand services.

3M supports St. Joseph's building project, community dental clinic
Amid yuletide preparations and a busy holiday season, the private woods of 3M's Wonewok Conference Center recently witnessed a profound moment of a different kind.

Representatives from 3M presented St. Joseph's Area Health Services with donations to benefit the new building and renovation project currently underway as well as a “gift-in-kind” to St. Joseph's Community Dental Clinic which sees some of the region's neediest dental patients.

Brad Sauer, 3M Executive Vice President Health Care, presented St. Joseph's with a $10,000 contribution to benefit the building campaign. St. Joseph's is building a new medical center that will house the hospital and clinic (Innovis Health as of Jan. 1) under one roof. The project includes a 50,000 square foot office building located adjacent to a newly renovated St. Joseph's. Efforts are underway to raise $2.5 million of the total project cost of $26 million locally.

St. Joseph's named a top ten hospital for patient satisfaction
Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) named St. Joseph's a Top Ten Hospital within its system. The designation goes to hospitals with the highest ranking in inpatient care, obstetrics, emergency, same-day surgery and imaging combined.
